Epilobium augustifolium

I have spent many, many hours sitting by the fireweed and watching the bees, hundreds of them at once,  flying from flower to flower.  Quite often I have photographed the bees and have a few great shots.  Once the fireweed has gone to seed and the bees search elsewhere for different flowers,  the seeds become my photographic subjects.  There are so many and the slightest breeze send them flying into the air.
