Blueberry -
Vaccinium angustifollium
On the hill by my house is a field of
blueberries. In early summer I shoot the flowers, then berries as
they form, and, then, in late August I pick enough berries for pies,
muffins and pancakes until the next season. All this within 30 feet (10 m)
from my back door.
